Football Sixes UK Ltd – Official League Policies & Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Football Sixes UK Ltd. By registering a team, stepping onto the pitch as a player, or attending as a spectator, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions, Code of Conduct, Venue Policy, and Media/Privacy Policy.
1. Terms & Conditions
1.1 Team Registration & Entry Fees
- – To secure a position in a Football Sixes UK Ltd league, teams must pay their first match/ trial match fee
- – Slots are allocated strictly on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of this payment.
1.2 Match Fees & Financial Liability
- – The standard match fee must be paid prior to kick-off via our authorised payment channels.
- – The Team Captain accepts full personal financial liability for the team’s fees. The Team Captain remains legally responsible for settling the full £60 balance.
1.3 Fixture Guarantee & Forfeit Policy
- – Football Sixes UK Ltd operates on a strict Fixture Guarantee framework. When your team is placed into the league schedule, pitch hire, referee fees, and staff costs are committed on your behalf.
- – If a team forfeits a match or fails to show up, they remain fully liable for their £60 match fee.
- – If a team forfeits with less than 1 weeks notice, Football Sixes UK Ltd reserves the right to charge that team the standard match fee
- – If a team is unable to attend a fixture and gives notice at least 1 week prior, they will be refunded their match fee
- – Persistent failure to pay fees or forfeit penalties could result in a team’s place in the league being forfeited
1.4 League Withdrawal Notice
- – Teams wishing to officially withdraw from the league mid-season must provide a minimum of two (2) weeks’ written notice to league management.
- – Teams are financially liable for all scheduled fixtures during this 2-week notice period, regardless of whether they physically fulfil the fixtures.
2. Code of Conduct
2.1 Player and Spectator Behaviour
- – Football Sixes UK Ltd operates a strict, zero-tolerance policy regarding violent conduct, verbal abuse, intimidation, racism, or discriminatory language. This applies to actions directed at referees, league staff, opposing players, and spectators.
- – The referee’s decision on the pitch is final. Dissent or aggressive appealing will result in immediate disciplinary action (sin-bins or red cards).
2.2 Captain’s Responsibility & Safeguarding
- – The designated Team Captain is legally and operationally responsible for the behavior, actions, and safety of all players and spectators associated with their team.
- – If a spectator or player breaches this Code of Conduct, the Team Captain will be held accountable, and disciplinary action may be taken against the entire team entity.
- – Under-18 Players (Safeguarding): If the team registers any players aged 16 or 17, the Team Captain must ensure they have explicit parental or guardian consent to participate in an adult competition. Football Sixes UK Ltd does not accept registrations for anyone under the age of 16 for adult leagues.
2.3 Fines, Bans, and Expulsion
- – Yellow Cards / Sin-Bins: Result in a temporary 5-minute removal from the pitch.
- – Red Cards: Result in an immediate ejection from the match and a minimum automatic 1-week ban from all Football Sixes UK Ltd competitions.
- – Team Brawls / Walking Off: If a team instigates a mass brawl or walks off the pitch in protest, that team will be permanently expelled from the league immediately. No refunds of any entry or match fees will be issued.
3. Venue & Health & Safety Policy
3.1 Property Damage & Vandalism
- – Teams, players, and spectators must respect the host venue’s property, including pitches, goals, changing facilities, and surroundings.
- – Any malicious damage, vandalism, or criminal damage caused to the host venue by an individual or team will result in an immediate lifetime ban and the individual/team being held fully financially liable for all repair or replacement costs.
3.2 Footwear & Kit Requirements
- – To protect the playing surface, players must strictly adhere to the host venue’s footwear policy.
- – Permitted Footwear: Molded football studs or artificial grass (astro) trainers.
- – Strictly Prohibited: Metal studs, blades, or flat-soled indoor trainers (running shoes). Referees will bar any player wearing incorrect footwear from entering the pitch.
- – All players must wear shin guards during match play. Football Sixes UK Ltd accepts no liability for injuries sustained where correct safety gear was not worn.
3.3 Injury & Personal Property Disclaimer
- – Football is a competitive contact sport. By participating, players explicitly acknowledge the physical risks involved.
- – Football Sixes UK Ltd, its directors, officials, and the host venue accept no liability for any personal injury, medical condition, or fatality sustained during league nights. Players participate entirely at their own risk.
- – Football Sixes UK Ltd accepts no liability for the loss, theft, or damage of personal property (vehicles, kit, phones, valuables) brought to the venue.
4. Privacy, Media & Data Protection Policy
4.1 Data Protection
- – All personal data collected during registration (including names, contact details, and team information) is securely processed and stored in accordance with UK Data Protection legislation.
- – We will never sell or share your personal data with unauthorized third parties. Data is collected and utilised strictly for league administration, fixture coordination, safety tracking, and direct league communications.
4.2 Media Consent & Content Creation
- – To promote, analyse, and celebrate the league, Football Sixes UK Ltd regularly takes professional photographs and records video footage (including match highlights and interviews) during league nights.
- – By registering, playing, or attending a Football Sixes UK Ltd event, you grant us an absolute, irrevocable right to capture, edit, and publish your image, voice, and likeness.
4.3 Marketing and Social Media Usage
- – All captured media remains the exclusive property of Football Sixes UK Ltd.
- – This footage will be used across our official website, marketing materials, and social media channels (including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube).
4.4 Social Media Conduct
- – Players and captains are prohibited from posting abusive, threatening, or defamatory comments regarding referees, league organisers, or opposing teams on Football Sixes UK Ltd social media pages or public forums.
- – Online harassment or cyberbullying will be treated with the same severity as physical abuse on the pitch and will result in immediate team expulsion.
